Lawrence Kim is a junior at the Biomedical Science and Technology Academy at Chino High School. He is very passionate about neurodivergence awareness and education policy, exploring the intersection between the two sectors, specifically through special education. Lawrence has passed two legislations in California on his own, SB939 (A senate bill that requires annual updates of neurodiversity resources that must be featured on school websites and includes guidance and resources on supporting neurodivergent students for school staff training) and SR90 (A senate resolution that designates April to be Neurodiversity Awareness Month). Lawrence hopes to pursue a career in a field encompassing both education policy and neurodivergence awareness and is very excited to be a part of the NNEA Core Committee.

Lisa Pan
Cultural Initiatives Lead
Lisa Pan, a high school senior, is so excited to serve as Co-Lead of Cultural Initiatives! She joined Stanford NNEA as a passionate advocate for neurodiversity awareness, an interest that stemmed from growing up with an autistic brother and caring for and mentoring many autistic individuals through her service organization, Tutors4Stars. Outside of advocacy and community-building, two of her favorite things about working with NNEA, Lisa is a professional actress, singer, model, and VoiceOver actress in Hollywood, who is signed with Paloma Model & Talent Agency and in the Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA) Union. She has acted in numerous TV shows and commercials on Apple TV, Disney, etc., modeled for campaigns with Claire’s and Dupixent, and voiced multiple characters in Superwings, the Emmy-nominated children’s cartoon.

Laila Ragab
Cultural Initiatives
Laila is a high-school junior at school in Washington who has cared about neurodiversity since she was young and has advocated for them at her school for four years. She likes to consider neurodivergent people's identities and the intersectionality between other marginalized groups in her advocacy work. She found NNEA through SNP-REACH and is happy to be surrounded by like-minded, caring individuals. She hopes to carry her advocacy through her life and make an even bigger impact.

Jenny Deng
Cultural Initiatives
Zijin Deng is a junior in Beijing. She is a member of cultural initiatives and speaker coordination. She is outgoing and easy to communicate with. She likes to sing and perform musicals. She also enjoys reading books associated with clinical psychology and social psychology. The main motivation for her to join NNEA is the aim to use music or music therapy to raise public awareness as well as provide neurodivergent individuals a creative way to express themselves

Willow Wang
Cultural Initiatives
Willow Wang is a current senior in Suzhou, China. She is a member of the Cultural Initiatives and the Social Media subcommittees. Witnessing the chasm between how neurodiversity is perceived across cultures, she joined NNEA with the intent of bridging these gaps and reducing stigma through cross-cultural infographics and workshops, as well as reaching out to international neurodiverse organizations.
